The Book " Suaves y Asperas/ Smooth and Rough" by Lisa Bullard talk about different animals who have rough and smooth skin. I believe this is a very good book for 2nd or 3rd graders. The words are large enough to keep the child's attention as well as keep them informed. I like the way it gives good translations on the same page. This way the student can easily compare the sentences. I also like how the book constantly compares only two words (smooth and rough). This way the student is reminded what they are learning. I would recommend this book because it's perfect for 2nd and 3rd graders. This is a book that will keep a child's attention without being to difficult.
