PERFECT SOUP

Murray the mouse is making soup. He has everything except a carrot. He heads into town to find a carrot and on his way out, the friendly snowman says hi he wants to play. Murry is too busy to stop because he needs the carrot to have the perfect soup. Murry goes home crying when the friendly snowman ask what is wrong. Murry tells him and the snowman gives him a snowball to but in Mrs. Wooly's cocoa. Murray asks what he wants in return and the snowman says nothing.  So he takes the snow and cools Mrs. Wooly's cocoa which makes her happy and every one does as they say they would and Murray gets his carrot. He finishes his soup, goes out and shares it with his friend the snowman. The carrot is not in the soup, but is the snowman's nose. The story teaches how one grumpy person can ruin the day for everyone. The book has very colorful pictures.
