The Book "Hombrecillo de Papel" by Fernando Alonso is about a little girl who gets tired of playing with her old toys so she makes a little paper man. He is made of newspaper. When he tells stories they are about wars or bad news. He washes himself in a laundromat and puts happy stories on him. This is a good book for 3rd or 4th graders. The words seep like they are a appropriate level for them. This book will allow students to learn that newspapers don't always have sad stories. I would recommend this book to read for enjoyment when students have time in class.
