Gimme a call is a great book. Teens will easily relate to the drama that occurs with friends and young romance. The book is set with a young girl dropping her cell phone in a fountain, and what happens once she retrieves it. 
Devi is given a chance to go back and change her fate but she soon figures out that the past is probably best left alone. 
The book is easy to read although Devi is able to speak to herself though the cell phone. The cell phone is running low on its battery, so time is of the essence. This is a good clean book for teen girls!
