 Every one loves Jane Austin's stories. In this book the author Cora Harrison tells her story through Jenny Cooper's( Jane Austin's cousin's) point of view in her journal. It is a delightful that stands true to all of Jane Austin's romantic adventures. It tells of hardship, romance, and love in the most unlikely of places. 


Shy sixteen year old Jenny faces the hardship of losing her parents in addition to attending a terrible boarding school with her high spirited cousin Jane Austin. There is a heroic act that threatens to damage Jenny's reputation and every thing she holds dear. She finds herself smack in the middle of the Austin family household. She experiences many things she never thought she would with her cousin by her side. By the end of the story you can tell how the main character (Jenny) and her cousin (Jane) will grow into the beautiful young ladies inside and out. The wonderful illustrations by Susan Hellard  help the reader picture each character in their entire splendor. At the end of the book the author explains in this story is based on Jane Austin's life and how she came up with Jenny's story.
