I read this book to my 4th graders and they loved it. It is the story of a young lad, Livingstone Columbus Magellan Crouse who is quite the adventurer, and who brings home specimens from those trips, much to the dismay of his mother. This is an excellent example of putting things into perspective for parents. LOL book presents a soothing use of rhythm and rhyme.
